Peer House, LLC is an accounting and consulting firm. We were established in 2016 and operate from 3320 Clays Mill Rd, Suite 113, Lexington, KY 40503

We are hiring two part-time staff accountants, for 20-25 hours per week.

An accounting degree is preferred but students can apply as well. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. Candidates who receive a job offer must be prepared to pass background checks and standard drug screenings.

Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional skills are preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Online Payroll is preferred.

The staff accountant duties are:

• Bookkeeping
• Account reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation
• Client communications
• Data analysis
• Payroll processing and payroll tax filing
• Month-end closing of the general ledger
• Assisting clients with loan applications
• Preparing clients’ supporting documents for financial statement audits
• Preparing clients’ supporting documents for tax preparation
• Assisting with other accounting and office management tasks, as needed

Peer House does not provide financial statement audit or tax return preparation services.
